Finance Manager – SeaNovation Innovation Center

SeaNovation Innovation Center is looking for a Finance Manager to take full ownership of the center’s financial operations and play a key role in supporting early-stage ventures in the Blue Tech and desert & marine agriculture sectors.

Role Summary

Lead and manage all financial activities of the innovation center, while serving as a strategic partner to leadership and entrepreneurs in building and scaling ventures.

How this role fits into the organization

You will be a central figure in SeaNovation’s operations, bridging finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship—supporting both internal management and external ventures within the ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations: book keeping, payments, vendors, and collections

• Oversee and control cash flow

• Build and manage the annual budget, including ongoing tracking vs. performance

• Prepare management reports and financial analyses

• Lead reporting processes מול the Israel Innovation Authority and other public entities

• Support entrepreneurs in building financial models, forecasts, and business plans

• Work closely with management, partners, and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Accounting / Business Administration

• 3+ years of experience in a financial role

• Experience in budgeting and financial control

• Experience with reporting to public/government bodies – advantage

• Experience in startups or an entrepreneurial environment – strong advantage

• Advanced Excel skills

• High level of accuracy, organization, and ability to work independently
