And that’s where you come in.

The Challenge You'll Tackle:

• Translate complexity into simplicity. Users face billions of signals. Your challenge is to architect and build a highly performant, intuitive, and data-rich user interface using React and TypeScript that makes exploring this data feel effortless and insightful.
• Build a scalable and resilient frontend architecture. As more powerful features are added, you will co-own component design, state management, and overall frontend structure. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the UI remains fast and performant, even with massive datasets.
• Champion the user experience. You will work closely with product, design, and backend engineers to define not just how the product looks, but how it feels. You’ll advocate for the user and ensure every interaction is purposeful.

What Success Looks Like (and How You'll Get There):

• Within 1 week, you’ll have shipped your first piece of production code.
• Within 3 months, you’ll have shipped significant, user-facing features that improve how customers visualize data and diagnose issues.
• Within 6 months, you’ll be a go-to expert for frontend architecture, mentoring other engineers and driving best practices with Tailwind CSS and testing frameworks.
• Within 12 months, you’ll have played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of the UI, helping build a product that is both powerful and a joy to use.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience building complex, data-intensive applications with React and TypeScript and strong knowledge of charting libraries (e.g., Recharts, D3).
• Is deeply familiar with modern frontend practices, including component-based architecture and state management.
• Expertly leverages AI and agentic coding tools to accelerate development, applying strong technical judgment to validate and refine outputs.
• Loves crafting high-performance, polished user interfaces and has a strong eye for detail.
• Is passionate about observability and improving developer experience.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where they can make a significant impact.
• Has experience with testing frameworks and writing well-tested code.
• Is comfortable consuming RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
• Has working knowledge of server-side development.
