Our Missiles & Space Systems Division is looking for a Mechanical Development Manager – Airborne Systems.
About the role:
The position includes engineering control over mechanical design, leading design reviews, validating design through development testing, defining mechanical requirements, and writing technical specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – mandatory
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering – an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer, including mechanical design and interfaces with analysis teams (strength, heat transfer) – mandatory
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering team management and/or project management – mandatory
- Understanding of development processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team

This role combines hands-on mechanical engineering leadership with system-level thinking in a complex, multidisciplinary environment. It involves close collaboration with design, analysis, and testing teams, as well as engagement with customers and internal stakeholders across engineering, production, and operational functions.
The position offers exposure to advanced technologies and full lifecycle development processes, while leading technical decisions, design validation, and cross-functional coordination in a high-paced, mission-driven environment.
