Our clients use Vinesight to progress from reactive damage control to proactive narrative strategy.
We are a growing, mission-driven team. This is not a role where you will be reading from a script or blasting generic templates. Vinesight sells to senior communications, brand, and national security leaders. Narrative intelligence is becoming essential for both corporate and government decision-makers, and Vinesight is positioned at the center of it. The conversations you initiate will be substantive, and the people you reach will be sharp. You need to match that.
The Role
As Vinesight’s first dedicated SDR, you will be the engine that converts awareness into an active sales pipeline. You will own the full top-of-funnel process: identifying high-value prospects and crafting personalized outreach for the sales team. You will work across two distinct verticals (enterprise and government/defense), using different messaging, channels, and cadences for each.
You will work directly with the CEO and Director of Strategic Insights, with real influence over strategy. You will not inherit a playbook; you will help build it. The right person sees that as the opportunity it is. You will be selling a product that people genuinely need but often don’t know exists yet, which means your outreach has to educate and persuade, not just qualify.
Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives is a part of this role, with an opportunity to grow into an Account Executive or sales leadership role as the team scales.
What You’ll Do
Outbound Prospecting & Outreach:
- Execute multi-touch, multi-channel outreach, targeting sequences across LinkedIn, email, and phone, maintaining a disciplined cadence.
- Target profiles at leading international corporations, as well as government and defense contacts focused on information operations and strategic communications by personalizing every touchpoint to drive Vinesight’s unique value to each prospective lead.
Inbound Lead Qualification & Pipeline Management
- Route qualified leads to the appropriate sales resource with a clear summary of the prospect’s needs, pain points, and readiness to buy.
- Track and report on key metrics weekly: outreach volume, reply rates, meetings booked, conversion rates by channel and vertical.
Marketing & Event Support
- Own pre-event outreach for conferences, booking meetings with target attendees before the event begins, and support on-site activity.
- Execute post-event follow-up sequences within 48 hours of each event, converting badge scans and conversations into booked meetings.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales development, business development, or a related outbound role. SaaS experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to write sharp, personalized outreach that avoids generic templates and gets replies from senior executives.
- Comfort with multi-channel outreach: LinkedIn messaging, cold email, and cold calling. You should have a track record of booking qualified meetings, not just sending volume.
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Dripify, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar).
- Experience with prospecting tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo.io, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal English. Native or near-native fluency required; you will be writing to C-suite executives at global companies.
Preferred
- Familiarity with the information integrity, brand reputation, or crisis communications space.
- Experience selling into both enterprise and government/defense verticals, or willingness to develop fluency in government-sector language and procurement dynamics.
- Previous experience at a startup or early-stage company where you wore multiple hats.
