SecOps & Managed Security Services Team Leader

Description:

We are looking for an experienced SecOps & Managed Security Services Team Leader to oversee our internal and customer-focused Managed Security Services.

In this role, you will lead a team of SecOps engineers, manage SIEM platforms and SOC-as-a-Service operations, and ensure effective threat detection, incident response, and continuous security improvement across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SecOps engineers and SOC Analysts.
• Design, implement, and manage SIEM & managed SOC & MDR offerings.
• Oversee daily security operations including incident response, threat monitoring, and threat hunting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements related to SecOps and managed security services.
• Manage internal and customer security incidents, ensuring timely detection, escalation, and remediation.
• Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Promote security awareness and best practices across teams and client environments.
• Support project teams in identifying and mitigating security risks in new and ongoing initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, with a strong background in SOC operations.
• 2+ years of experience in a team lead or management role.
• Proven experience managing SIEM platforms (rule creation, parser development, integration management).
• Familiarity with offensive security concepts, tools, and red team methodologies and concepts – Advantage
• Knowledge in CrowdStrike and FortiSIEM – Advantage
• Experience with incident response, threat detection, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework – Advantage
• Understanding of Windows internals, networking, and web protocols.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) – Advantage
