As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help define how the world understands and experiences our product.
About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic, and creative product marketer who can bridge deep technical understanding with compelling storytelling. You’ll own the way RavenDB is positioned in the market, crafting narratives, enabling sales, and driving GTM success for new capabilities and product launches. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Sales and reports to the CMO.
What You Will Do
As a Senior PMM at RavenDB, your role is built around four key areas of ownership:
Messaging and Positioning
- Define and execute differentiated positioning across segments, supported by proof, use cases, and competitive context.
- Translate customer success into clear, outcome-driven proof that strengthens evaluation and sales conversations.
GTM Strategy
- Lead GTM planning for major releases and offerings, connecting launches to enablement, adoption, and pipeline impact.
- Shape the buyer journey by developing high-impact assets and ensuring messaging consistency across the website and key conversion touchpoints.
Intelligence
- Build a structured competitive intelligence loop (win/loss, field insights, deal feedback) to strengthen differentiation.
- Refine target segments and audience focus based on customer insights and market dynamics.
Enablement
- Develop scalable enablement programs: talk tracks, objection handling, battlecards, and training to standardize how RavenDB is positioned in complex deals.
What Success Looks Like
You’ve brought clarity and structure to how RavenDB is positioned, launched, and sold, helping opportunities move through the pipeline more consistently and with greater confidence.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably in the SW infrastructure (databases, developer tools, cloud, observability, security, etc.).
- Experience marketing to technical audiences (devs, architects, engineering leaders) as well as executives.
- Demonstrated experience operating within a sales-led GTM motion and supporting complex buying cycles.
- Proven track record of leading at least 3 major launches end-to-end, including messaging, enablement, and GTM coordination.
- Exceptional storytelling and writing skills in native-level English (samples appreciated).
- Used funnel and adoption metrics (pipeline velocity, win/loss, free→paid conversion) to inform messaging and GTM, showing measurable impact.
- Experience using funnel or adoption signals (pipeline progression, win/loss insights, free -> paid conversion) to refine positioning and GTM execution.
- Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, and sales teams.
- Background in software development, product management, or technical education is an advantage.
