Manager of Engineering

We are looking for an excellent Manager of Engineering to join our team in Israel.

The position is hybrid - 4 days a week from the office, and 1 day from home.

Job Description:

The Manager of Engineering will be responsible for technical/engineering aspects of the production line performance, including design for manufacturability, Design transfer to production, DMR establishment, Production line validation and in-process root cause investigation.

Leads engineering activity regarding process engineering, NPI and monitoring for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Leads engineering investigation and Failure Analysis activities in Operation, on component, product or process level
Plan and execute process validation / tool validation
Main engineering point of contact to suppliers and vendors, considering quality of materials and manufacturing processes
Supports MRB processes in Operation, assisting with issues relating to CAPAs, complaints and manufacturing support

Job Requirements:

Education: Degree in relevant field, Mechanics or Biomedical preferable
Job Skills:
Good understanding of manufacturing processes, experience in a medical devices industry – a must
Professional experience with multi discipline product of 2-3 years – a must
Hands-on manager with high technical orientation – a must
Experience with managing and mentoring of team leaders – an advantage
Professional experience with Solidworks - an advantage
Clean room work experience – an advantage
Familiarity with FDA and ISO 13485 medical device regulations
Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFM / DFA) is desired
Language skills: Good English, both written and verbal

Good communication and interpersonal skills
An ability of technical leadership in matrix and changing environment
