Finance Operations Manager

Position:

At Sightec, we develop real-time visual autonomy and navigation systems for UAVs operating in GPS-denied environments.

Our solutions are deployed by customers worldwide across the defense and HLS sectors.

We are looking for a hands-on Business Operations and Finance professional to take responsibility for key operational and financial processes across the company.

This is a cross-functional role that works closely with suppliers, regulatory processes, financial models, and customer-facing operations, with direct impact on how things run day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain the company’s financial models, including FP&A and pricing
• Manage contracts with customers and suppliers, including coordination and follow-up
• Lead compliance and regulatory processes (Export Control, ISO), working with external bodies and ensuring requirements are met
• Lead grant submissions and ongoing management with relevant funding bodies, including writing and maintaining applications
• Lead procurement processes and manage ongoing coordination with suppliers and customers, including follow-ups and tracking
• Manage product inventory and ensure availability for salesSupport the transition from development to production from an operational perspective
• Support after-sales operations and provide operational support for customer needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Industrial Engineering
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Business Operations or similar cross-functional roles in a tech environment
• Hands-on experience working with regulators, contracts, and suppliers
• Experience driving processes end-to-end
• Ability to work independently and move things forward
• Strong organizational skills with a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work at a fast pace, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain accuracy
• The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to combine financial work with operational execution

• Experience building and maintaining financial models
• Experience with grant submissions
• Experience working with regulatory or compliance processes
• Experience in procurement, inventory or logistics
• Experience in hardware, robotics, UAV, or defense environments
