About the job

We are looking for a visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer who sees themselves as a maker, to take part in the design, development, and integration of Tevel’s FAR drones and their carrier hybrid-powered vehicle.The position requires rapid prototyping capabilities, integation and test.

The position requires knowledge in automation and collaborates with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, electronics) to ensure seamless system integration.

Identify and implement best practices in mechanical system design and process improvement.

Willingness to test your creations outdoors in the field, both locally and abroad.

Professional requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in the design of assemblies and systems that include mechanics and control, from the concept level to the product (design, experiments and tests, production, assembly, transportation, operation, and maintenance).
• Knowledge and experience in the design of, plastic parts, machining, packaging and more.
• Experience creating production drawings, assembly and maintenance instructions in Hebrew and English.
• Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks – a must.
• Experience in the robotics , automation industry , drones – an advantage.
• Experience or knowledge on how quadcopters are build and work–  a must.
• Experience in design for mass production – an advantage.
• Experience with 3D printing – a must.
