Job Description Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer at GE HealthCare, you will play an integral role within our MI PET/CT Software Development Group. Your scope of work will span across software design, implementation, and testing throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). By collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will be instrumental in the development of innovative medical products.

Job Description

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from a well-regarded institution.
At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience using Java, utilizing advanced frameworks such as Spring.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design and Programming.
Comprehensive knowledge of multi-threading concepts.
Aptitude for creatively solving complex problems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with team members.
Self-driven, organized, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.

Desired Characteristics

Proficiency in C++ software development is highly desirable.
Prior experience in the Medical Devices industry is a strong asset.
Experience with Linux OS is advantageous.
Experience in web application development using Angular, HTML5, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies is a plus.
Master's Degree in Computer Science
Experience in SW Architecture
