Operational Excellence Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Excellence unit to improve the dairy’s performance and serve as a member of the plant’s management team.
• Act as the professional authority for implementing and managing knowledge in operational excellence.
• Coach, mentor, and build capabilities of managers and employees to achieve significant improvements in efficiency, production, service, safety, and quality.
• Manage a team of excellence leaders, including training, guidance, and employee development.
• Drive collaboration across interfaces, overcome resistance, and strengthen engagement and trust in the process.
• Lead operational excellence processes: mapping, analyzing, and improving workflows; developing and embedding work standards.
• Implement operational excellence projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and meeting targets.
• Promote the language of excellence and communicate achievements and successes across the plant.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree – mandatory. Industrial Engineering & Management or Master’s degree – an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Operational Excellence leader or Production Manager in a process-based manufacturing plant – mandatory.
• Experience in matrix management and project leadership – mandatory.
• Experience in leading change and implementing LEAN methodology – advantage.
• Experience in the food industry – advantage.
• High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) – mandatory.
