SOC Team Lead / SOC Manager

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring for a leading organization in Petah Tikva.

We are looking for an experienced SOC leader to manage the organization’s SOC end-to-end, including operational ownership, development, and continuous improvement of cyber defense capabilities. The role combines management of Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysts with strong hands-on involvement in complex cyber investigations, incident response, and optimization of detection and response systems.

The position also includes leading technology projects, improving SIEM / SOAR / EDR rules, working across AWS/Azure multi-cloud and on-prem environments, and collaborating with infrastructure and development teams to improve the organization’s security posture.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a SOC Manager / Team Lead
3+ years of technical SOC experience in roles such as Tier 2 or Incident Response
Hands-on experience with forensics, threat hunting, and alert tuning
Deep experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk and Sentinel
Ability to write complex queries in XQL / KQL / SPL
Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
Proven experience in AWS / Azure multi-cloud environments
