A leading telecommunications company providing Internet, TV, and telephony services is looking for an experienced Software QA Engineer for its Billing & Rating systems. The role involves end-to-end testing of complex billing systems, with a deep understanding of billing processes and accounting in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing of Billing & Rating systems
• Conduct end-to-end testing of the customer invoice lifecycle, from product definition to invoice generation
• Test recurring and one-time charges
• Verify discount, promotion, and credit mechanisms
• Test pricing based on peak/off-peak hours
• Test tiered pricing scenarios
• Test complex scenarios for customers with multiple services
• Analyze business requirements and prepare clear test documentation
• Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, following up until resolution

Requirements:

• 2–3+ years of experience in software QA - Must
• Proven experience with Billing & Rating systems - Must
• Strong understanding of the customer invoice lifecycle in telecom companies - Must
• Knowledge of billing models:
• Recurring charges
• Usage-based charges
• Discounts and promotions
• Peak/off-peak pricing
• Tiered pricing
• Experience testing multi-service systems (Internet / TV / Telephony) - Must
• Clear and organized test documentation skills - Must
• Experience with billing systems of large telecom companies - Must
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing - Must
