Cloud Architect

Description

You will join a strong team of cloud architects focused on building scalable, resilient, and secure networking architectures in public cloud environments.

This is a hands-on, highly technical position where you will:

· Design and implement Firewall-as-a-Service solutions

· Work directly with leading Cloud Service Providers (CSPs)

· Collaborate closely with internal R&D, Product, and Engineering teams

· Help shape the future of cloud-native security services

What You’ll Do-

· Design and implement secure, scalable FWaaS architectures in at least one major public cloud:

o Amazon Web Services (AWS)

o Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

o Microsoft Azure

· Build advanced cloud networking topologies (VPC/VNet design, routing, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, HA).

· Work with routing protocols, especially BGP (OSPF – advantage).

· Develop and automate infrastructure using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, etc.).

· Collaborate with CSP technical teams on integrations and reference architectures.

· Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment with product strategy.

· Participate in PoCs, architecture reviews, and production deployments.

What We’re Looking For-

· 5+ years of experience in cloud networking / network architecture.

· Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

· Strong knowledge of:

o Cloud networking (VPC/VNet, routing tables, NAT, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, load balancers)

o Routing protocols (BGP – must)

o Hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity

· Solid scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).

· Strong understanding of network security principles (segmentation, firewalls, secure cloud design).

· Team player with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

· Experience with more than one public cloud.

· Background in the cybersecurity industry.

· Experience with Firewall-as-a-Service or SASE solutions.

· Experience with Kubernetes and Kubernetes networking.

· Familiarity with CNI (Container Network Interface).

· Relevant cloud certifications.
