Role Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our core R&D team and help build our cloud-based platform. You’ll work across the stack, shaping the architecture, implementing new features, optimizing performance, and mentoring team members to uphold high standards. What You Bring

• Experience: 5+ years in Node.js and 2+ years in React, with experience building and operating production services at a meaningful scale.
• Microservices Expertise: Proven production experience with microservices architecture.
• Database Knowledge: Strong skills with relational and non-relational databases.
• API Development: Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• AI-Augmented Development: Strong proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot) and modern AI-assisted development practices as part of day-to-day work.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS or similar providers.
• Leadership: Ability to mentor and lead technical projects.
• Communication: Proficient in English with strong verbal and written skills.
• DevOps Awareness: Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong advantage.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proficient in software design principles and patterns with a motivated, self-driven approach.

Bonus Points For

• Experience developing high-scale SaaS solutions.
• Experience developing AI Features (Agents, GenAI, Lang etc.)
• Deep understanding of CI/CD and QA automation processes.
• Academic excellence in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Build & Design: Develop Scytale’s cloud-based platform using cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, microservices, and containerized solutions.
• Architect Solutions: Participate in architectural decisions, research, and design to deliver scalable and robust software.
• Full-Stack Development: Implement backend logic, create intuitive frontends, and integrate with third-party APIs.
• Collaborate: Work closely with product, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure a seamless, efficient platform.
• Lead & Mentor: Guide junior developers, promote knowledge sharing, and maintain coding standards.
• Optimize: Continuously improve the platform’s efficiency, scalability, and maintainability, while staying updated on industry trends.
