QA Engineer

An innovative Israeli MedTech startup is revolutionizing dental diagnostics with a groundbreaking multidisciplinary platform. Their technology combines 3D imaging, advanced optics, and proprietary mechanical sensors to enable high-precision scanning of critical oral areas that are undetectable by standard optical scanners.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location with convenient access) and operates a hybrid work model with one day remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Founding QA Unit: Joining a newly established quality assurance team, reporting directly to the QA Team Lead.
• Multidisciplinary Testing: Executing comprehensive testing cycles that bridge the gap between Hardware and Software components.
• End-to-End Verification: Validating 3D sensors, optical elements, and system interfaces to ensure clinical-grade reliability.
• Test Management: Utilizing industry-standard tools (Jira, Xray) to document, track, and manage defect lifecycles and test execution.
• Collaboration: Partnering closely with R&D engineers to identify system bottlenecks and ensure the seamless integration of new hardware features.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in QA, specifically within Multidisciplinary environments (Hardware + Software) – Mandatory.
• Proven background in Medical Device testing or highly regulated industries (e.g., Aerospace, Defense) – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Test Management tools (Jira/Xray or equivalent) – Mandatory.
• Strong technical orientation with the ability to troubleshoot complex system integrations.
• Experience in testing 3D imaging, sensors, or optical systems – Significant Advantage.
