Legal Counsel (Operations & Regulation)

As our platform grows and our services expand, we are looking for an outstanding attorney to join a dynamic, cross-functional role at the heart of the Legal Division of a new digital bank. The role is designed for attorneys coming from leading law firms who are looking to expand beyond “classic” legal work—combining strong legal expertise with coordination, execution, and driving cross-functional processes.

This is a key position involving responsibility for organizing, structuring, and supporting the Legal Division’s activities, alongside hands-on legal involvement across a broad range of matters.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives within the Legal Division, including tracking tasks and ensuring timely execution
• Drive and manage legal and regulatory processes end-to-end
• Work closely with internal stakeholders across the organization
• Identify gaps, “close loops,” and ensure effective execution of tasks
• Provide ongoing legal advice on a variety of matters, as needed
• Drafting, negotiating, and managing a variety of agreements
• Draft, review, and manage legal documents
• Build and maintain workflows, processes, policies, and control mechanisms within the division
• Handle operational and technical tasks as needed, with a hands-on approach
  
  

• Qualified attorney with at least 3 years of experience
• Experience at a leading law firm
• Background in one or more of the following areas: capital markets / litigation (banking litigation – an advantage) / banking & finance
• Strong legal skills and sharp analytical thinking
• Excellent organizational and task management abilities
• Proven ability to manage and drive multiple workstreams simultaneously (multitasking)
• Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to drive things forward
• Willingness to take a hands-on approach, including operational and technical tasks
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
