A unique opportunity to establish and lead the Chief of Staff function within a new global physical energy trading platform based in Israel.

We are establishing a next-generation trading company active in crude oil, refined products, LNG, and natural gas, designed to combine entrepreneurial agility with institutional-grade governance and operational discipline.

While the company’s core is physical energy trading, strategic infrastructure initiatives — including storage facilities, terminals, pipelines, and potential future refinery acquisition — are being evaluated strictly to optimize trading flexibility, logistics efficiency, and commercial margins.

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff will act as the strategic and operational right hand to the CEO, ensuring alignment across all corporate functions, facilitating execution of high-priority initiatives, and driving enterprise-wide efficiency and decision-making.

This role is central to supporting the founding leadership team, providing strategic oversight, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring the organization scales effectively while maintaining institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
• Act as the CEO’s primary advisor and operational lead for strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate execution of enterprise-wide priorities across trading, finance, risk, operations, and business development.
• Ensure strategic goals are translated into actionable plans and measurable results.

Operational Oversight
• Monitor performance metrics and operational KPIs across business units.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and remove operational bottlenecks.
• Ensure operational readiness for trading and infrastructure initiatives.

Project & Program Management
• Lead high-impact projects, including trading infrastructure, process optimization, and corporate initiatives.
• Track progress, report outcomes, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Contribute operational insights for planned storage, terminal, pipeline, and potential refinery initiatives.

Executive Coordination
• Serve as the interface between the CEO, senior executives, and board members.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication of key decisions and priorities.
• Support enterprise governance, risk management, and compliance standards.

Candidate Profile – Mandatory Criteria

⚠️ Only candidates with 10+ years experience in executive support or strategic operational roles within institutional trading or corporate environments will be considered.
• Proven experience in executive-level coordination, strategic planning, and operational leadership.
• Exposure to physical trading environments or energy sector operations strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex initiatives.
• Fluent English required; Hebrew fluency preferred.
