About the The Purchase Apps squad:

The Purchase Apps squad is at the heart of our company's operations, responsible for developing our loan application systems & integration with our technological partners. Each feature of this team is a key feature in the company’s plans and requires a plan for scale as those are the busiest products of Sunbit today. The team is passionate about building enterprise level financial products and fostering a culture of learning and mentorship, where everyone is encouraged to share their expertise and develop their skills.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will work on our flag front end application (React) and our SDKs we provide to our partners. You will be required to develop products on an enterprise scale. Our challenges demand a strong passion for architecture, outstanding coding skills, and a continuous learning mindset - this is a completely dynamic & interesting opportunity for Frontend / Full stack engineers who like to control both sides of the web!

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of our core loan application system, ensuring high-quality products and services.
• Solve complex architectural problems, utilizing your deep understanding of system architecture.
• Collaborate with other team members, sharing your expertise and facilitating a culture of learning.
• Maintain our system architecture, ensuring smooth operation and quality user experience.
• Be an advocate for clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a focus on system architecture - at least 3 years of experience in ReactJs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of meeting technical challenges head-on.
• A passion for learning, constantly staying up to date with industry trends and technology advancements.
• Strong product understanding. Passion for the product, knowing the business.
• Resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Effective communication skills to explain complex topics in English.
• Experience with AI tools and a strong interest in continuously exploring and applying them in everyday work are highly valued.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with Typescript
• Experience with software development in Kotlin or Java.
• Frontend Analytics skills - Mixpanel / Datadog/
• Strong testing capabilities.
• Prior experience in a fintech company is highly desirable (payment processing or other financial services).
• Experience with microservices architecture & Kubernetes.

Advantage:

• Experience with BE. Spring framework has a bigger advantage.
• Experience with playwright.
