Chief Financial Officer

Microcon, a growing defense company specializing in the development, production, and sale of advanced electro‑optical systems for the defense industry, is seeking a CFO to lead the company’s end‑to‑end financial operations.

This is a unique opportunity to join the company’s executive team, establish and lead the finance function in a rapidly growing organization, directly influence business decision‑making, and serve as a key partner to senior leadership and the CEO.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for all financial activities of the company, end to end.
• Building financial processes and a strong financial culture in a growing organization.
• Full management of all financial and economic aspects of the company, including managing outsourced bookkeeping and payroll services.
• Building the annual budget, conducting in‑depth analyses, and preparing financial forecasts.
• Managing and overseeing cash flow, working with banks, and short‑ and long‑term financial planning.
• Responsibility for internal controls, financial processes, preparation of tax reports, and quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Leading financial reporting to management and the board of directors.
• Ongoing work with external auditors, advisors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Supporting business operations and company growth: economic analyses, pricing of projects and deals, and supporting commercial transactions.
• Ongoing cross‑functional collaboration with multiple departments within the company and group- operations, procurement, sales, R&D, and supply chain.
• Participation in the company’s strategic processes, including business growth, partnerships, and expansion of international activity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance after completing an internship, as a Controller or CFO in a small/medium‑sized company or startup.
• Hands‑on experience managing all areas of finance.
• Willingness to handle the full spectrum of financial activities, from strategic financial leadership to day‑to‑day operational tasks.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and build processes from scratch.
• Experience in budget control, building financial models, and cash‑flow management.
• Strong understanding of commercial, procurement, logistics, and operational processes.
• Independent work capability, business‑oriented thinking, and strong leadership skills in a growing organization.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Very high level of English.
