An Israeli-founded Insurtech company operates a high-scale platform reimagining travel insurance through real-time assistance and automated claims processing. The technological core integrates smart infrastructure and AI to provide instant financial reimbursements and eWallet capabilities for global travelers.

Backed by significant Series B funding, the organization continues to expand its global reach and diversify its fintech and travel intelligence services.

The company is located in Central Israel (prime location near major transport hubs) and operates a hybrid work model with two days remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

Team Leadership: Managing a squad of five Fullstack and Backend engineers, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.
Technical Engagement: Maintaining a 20% hands-on presence, focusing on complex features and architectural integrity.
Frontend Orientation: Leading development with a strong emphasis on client-side performance and user experience within a React and Node.js ecosystem.
System Architecture: Overseeing the design and implementation of scalable services using NestJS and PostgreSQL on AWS.
Operational Excellence: Driving high engineering standards through robust CI/CD pipelines and modern development methodologies.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in Engineering Management (Team Lead level) – Mandatory.
5+ years of professional Software Development experience – Mandatory.
Expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript across the stack – Mandatory.
B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related technological degree – Mandatory.
Proven track record in building consumer-facing products (B2C) or high-performance fintech/insurtech platforms.
