Frontend Team Leader

An established and well-funded Israeli technology company is expanding its R&D leadership. The firm specializes in a high-performance platform for the management, distribution, and monetization of digital video content, serving global publishers and advertisers.

With a workforce of 50 employees across Israel and international hubs, the company operates at the intersection of

Ad-Tech and high-scale Video streaming, providing mission-critical infrastructure that transforms content into revenue.

The company's R&D center is located in the Sharon Area and operates a hybrid work model with two days of remote flexibility.

Role Overview:

• Team Leadership: Managing a specialized frontend development team of three engineers, reporting directly to the CTO.
• High-Impact Influence: Serving as a central figure within the R&D department, with a broad influence on technical strategy and product evolution.
• Core Web Engineering: Leading the development of sophisticated video delivery and monetization tools with a heavy focus on Vanilla JavaScript and Browser APIs.
• Performance Optimization: Driving front-end excellence by optimizing for mobile responsiveness and high-performance execution across various web environments.
• Collaborative Innovation: Leading brainstorming sessions and working closely with the team to engineer creative solutions for complex Ad-Tech challenges.

Requirements:

• 6 consecutive years of professional experience in Vanilla JS – Mandatory (Non-negotiable).
• 2 years of experience in a Team Lead role – Mandatory.
• Deep expertise and strong understanding of Chrome Developer Webtools – Mandatory.
• Proven track record in developing mobile-responsive web applications – Mandatory.
• Extensive experience with Browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance – Mandatory.
• A passion for leadership, mentorship, and collaborative problem-solving.
