Product Development Team Lead – HBPC

📍 Location: Haifa Plant, Unilever Israel

🕒 Hybrid Work Model: 3 days on-site | 2 days from home

Role Purpose

Lead the Product Development team at Unilever’s Haifa plant, driving innovation and operational projects in the Home & Beauty Personal Care (HBPC) categories, from concept through manufacturing and market launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage innovation, reformulation and product improvement projects in Home Care and Personal Care categories, primarily for imported products, from ideation through production and launch.
• Manage and develop the Product Development team, providing professional leadership, prioritization and guidance across multiple projects.
• Drive regulatory compliance activities, including regulatory change implementation, product dossier preparation, registration with the Ministry of Health portal, and product labeling.
• Collaborate with regional teams and ensure alignment with global company policies and standards.
• Serve as a key interface with regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Health and the Standards Institute.
• Manage ongoing cross‑functional collaboration with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Engineering, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Planning and additional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or Biotechnology – mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Development – mandatory.
• Proven people management experience – mandatory.
• Experience in HBPC (Home & Beauty / Personal Care) – significant advantage.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with a high level of digital orientation.
• Fluent English – written, verbal and reading skills.
