Product Development Manager – Laline

Laline, a leading cosmetics and personal care brand, is looking for an experienced Product Development professional to join its team.

This is a diverse role combining project management, product innovation, and end-to-end development processes, working closely with professional partners in Israel and internationally.

The role involves translating business and marketing needs into product solutions, identifying new opportunities, and leading projects from initial concept through development, commercialization, and product launch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects in the cosmetics and personal care industry, including the development of new products and the enhancement of existing ones, in line with brand strategy and business objectives.
• Translate marketing concepts and business needs into professional product briefs, including the selection of active ingredients, formulations, textures, fragrances, and packaging solutions.
• Manage collaborations and development processes with manufacturers, laboratories, and suppliers in Israel and abroad, including preparing professional briefs, reviewing samples, and overseeing adjustments throughout the development process.
• Oversee product testing and validation processes, including stability testing, formula-packaging compatibility, product quality, and performance.
• Manage and maintain all professional product documentation throughout the project, including product costing, technical specifications, product compositions, usage instructions, and product information files.
• Drive cross-functional processes in collaboration with Marketing, Design, Procurement, Quality, and Regulatory teams, ensuring compliance with relevant professional and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in product development within the cosmetics industry, in a commercial company or manufacturing facility – Required.
• Experience leading end-to-end product development processes, from concept to launch.
• In-depth knowledge of cosmetic formulations, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with manufacturers, laboratories, and suppliers in Israel and internationally.
• Practical understanding of cosmetic packaging and its compatibility with different formulations.
• Familiarity with product testing procedures, regulatory requirements, and professional documentation.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills, with the ability to make decisions and independently solve problems.
• Creative and commercial mindset, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
