Job Overview

This role provides financial leadership to and is primary business partner for our EV Software (Driivz) business in Israel whose objective is to aggressively grow the business profitably in hyper growth environment . EV and Energy Management Software is a fully-owned product line within larger global Vontier Corporation and operates primarily as a SaaS business model. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for financial strategy, commercial order & revenue execution, local cost management, financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and assurance of sound accounting & legal compliance. The CFO reports functionally to the Convenience Retail CFO, with a dotted line to Driivz CEO.

Responsibilities

• Translate corporate vision into multi-year financial strategy aligned with growth, profitability and resilience goals
• Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, expanding their capabilities and responsibilities to support evolving business needs.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales and other functional leaders to align budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with overall business strategy.
• Financial Forecasting & Analysis: Lead the development and maintenance of accurate forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and margin reviews to drive informed decision-making and positive business outcomes.
• Operational Planning & Execution: Develop the annual operating plan with commercial leadership, aligning revenue targets and expense budgets to drive sustainable growth.
• Growth Investment Optimization / Returns Focus: Work with functional leaders (Sales, Product Management, R&D) to ensure clear returns focused prioritized investments.
• Margin & Cash Improvements: Manage local legal entity spending budgets and drive cost improvements. Set and achieve improved cash flow metrics for the entity (DSO/DPO) and ensure tight inventory management.
• Define and monitor value creation levels (ARR Growth, margin expansion, capital efficiency, ROI)
• Lead capital allocation framework across Product R&D and GTM teams.
• Pricing & Commercial Planning: Manage pricing initiatives within SaaS model, commission strategies, and commercial plans that align short-term actions with long-term financial goals.
• Order Management & Revenue Recognition: Oversee order forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis while ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards and improving order-to-cash processes.
• Implementation & utilization of VBS tools to improve growth and profitability – in particular funnel management, key account management, FPP (strategic pricing analysis, regional profitability analysis, S&OP demand planning
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Establish and enhance finance and accounting processes along with the Legal function, including contract reviews.
• Performance Reporting & Insights: Deliver proactive, timely, and insightful commercial performance reports to support achievement of monthly and quarterly targets, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Strategic Resource Support: Advise leadership on headcount investments and resource redeployment in line with strategic business priorities.

Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack

Essential

• Proven experience in a Financial Leadership role in a Hi-Tech /SaaS business in scale up mode to $100M ARR
• Proven experience partnering with CEO on long term strategy and value creation
• Ability to build and lead high performing finance teams
• Experience in scaling finance organization in high growth environments
• Strong background in driving profitable growth, improving unit economics and optimizing cash-flow.
• Advance financial modelling and forecast capabilities in SaaS business model
• Experience building KPI-driven performance management systems
• Strong understanding of SaaS and recurring revenue models including ARR, MRR, CAC, NRR, LTC, gross margin optimization
• Experience working with boards, auditors, legal counsel and regulatory bodies
• Exceptional executive communication skills, able to translate complex financial insights into clear strategic guidance
• High integrity, sounds judgment and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast changing environment
• Finance or equivalent higher education degree
• Customer / Supplier contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing finance team.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash-flow management

Preferable

• Strong background in working within multinational companies
• Master’s degree in economics / business administration (MBA)
