About The Position

As an experienced QA engineer at Qualcomm, you will:

• Work closely with Software, Wireless (RF), Security and Product engineering teams on validation of internal and customer projects
• Develop software and system test plans covering all aspects of the product
• Design and execute manual and automated tests based on detailed requirements
• Produce reports detailing the results and analysis of test executions
• Analyze, identify, record and track bugs
  
  

Basic Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• 5+ years of experience in manual and/or automated testing, including:
• Analyzing requirements and acceptance criteria
• Designing and implementing tests
• Writing and executing test scripts
• Implementing strict QA processes and methodologies
  
• Experience in embedded/communication systems
• Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to details
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid end-to-end system understanding
• Self-learning skills and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered an advantage:

• Linux / RTOS
• Communication systems, specifically: RF, IEEE802.11 protocols, 3GPP protocols
• Automotive, Aerospace or Medical quality standards and methodologies
• Security and cryptography
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience.
  
  

OR

Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience.

• Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year (Master’s = one year) of work experience.
