We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our R&D team and help ensure the quality of our web-based products.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing manual tests as well as designing and developing automated tests. You will work closely with development, product, and support teams to identify issues, improve product quality, and ensure a reliable user experience.
This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, Agile environment with modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases for web applications
- Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects
- Design and develop automated tests
- Perform database validation using SQL queries
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, design meetings, and reviews
- Collaborate with development, product, support, and delivery teams
- Recommend product improvements to enhance performance and user experience
- Install and maintain testing environments
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Web application testing
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
- Solid understanding of how web applications work
- Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL queries (MS-SQL / MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
