Frontend team lead

A leading financial technology firm specializing in high-performance trading systems and financial platforms for the Israeli capital markets is expanding its R&D leadership.

The company develops mission-critical systems that facilitate real-time trading, data analysis, and financial management, operating in a highly regulated and technologically demanding environment.

The company is located in Central Israel (accessible via light rail and train) and operates a hybrid work model with two days in the office.

Role Overview:

• Technical Leadership: Leading a team of 8 Frontend developers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and professional guidance while maintaining hands-on development responsibilities.
• Architecture & Innovation: Designing and implementing advanced Microservices architectures using modern frontend frameworks to ensure system scalability and performance.
• Product Delivery: Driving the development lifecycle from requirements to production, ensuring the highest standards of code quality and security for financial systems.
• Modern Tech Stack: Working in a dynamic environment utilizing Angular and modern web technologies, with exposure to backend and cloud infrastructures.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with product managers, backend leads, and stakeholders to deliver seamless trading experiences.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent (M.Sc. – an advantage) – Mandatory.
• 2 years of experience as a Team Lead – Mandatory.
• 4 years of professional experience in Frontend development with Angular – Mandatory.
• Proven experience with AngularJS – Mandatory.
• Strong architectural understanding of Microservices – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with Backend development (C#, .NET Core) – Significant Advantage.
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, MongoDB) – Significant Advantage.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes – Advantage.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, high-stakes financial environment.
