Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Missile and Space Systems Division.

The position includes:

• Developing engineering solutions for mechanical cabling design and systems installation
• Performing preliminary and detailed design, and preparing engineering data for manufacturing and installation
• Coordinating work with electrical engineering teams and project management
• Collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers
• Supporting and accompanying the design throughout assembly lines
• Working in a dynamic and diverse engineering environment

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering – mandatory
• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical systems design using CAD software – mandatory
• Strong ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics – mandatory
• Experience working with electrical connectors and electromagnetic compatibility – a significant advantage
• Experience with HARNESS software – an advantage
• Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes of harnesses in airborne systems – an advantage
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team while managing multiple tasks
