Let's cut to the chase. What's the job?

We’re looking for a Director of IT to own and evolve Guardio’s corporate IT and internal security posture - and scale it to support our next phase of growth.

This is a strategic, hands-on role with broad organizational impact. You’ll define and execute the IT and security roadmap, oversee infrastructure, identity, endpoints, and SaaS governance, and ensure our systems and processes enable speed, resilience, and strong security standards across the organization.

You will:

• Own Guardio’s IT and internal security end-to-end - strategy, operations, and daily execution across infra, identity, endpoints, SaaS, policies, AI adoption and more
• Drive the organization’s security posture and enablement in an AI-first world - ensuring speed, resilience, and smart risk management.
• Build automation-first processes - creating automated, self-healing systems that reduce friction and help the company scale.
• Define and execute the IT and internal security roadmap aligned with business growth.
• Lead incident response and act as the escalation point for complex IT/security events.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, HR, Legal, and Finance to embed security and operational excellence into everything we do.
• Own vendors, tooling, and budget with an operator’s mindset and clear ROI focus.

• You’ve owned or led corporate IT and/or internal security functions in a high-growth tech company.
• You have strong, hands-on knowledge of cloud environments, networks, endpoint management, identity platforms, and SaaS security.
• You’re comfortable defining strategy while staying close to execution - from roadmap planning to incident triage.
• You’re comfortable working as a one-man army, both completing projects end-to-end in parallel to managing multiple vendors and contractors
• You’ve built or scaled IT operations and know how to design systems that grow with the business.
• You’ve managed vendors, tools, and budgets with a focus on impact and efficiency.
• You stay current with emerging threats and technologies and naturally translate that knowledge into action.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to prioritize what truly matters.
