Business Intelligence Analyst

Our Data team drives the decision-making process at yad2. We use machine learning and statistics to gain insights about our users and develop predictive models. Our classification and recommendation systems allow us to provide better experiences for our users. yad2's Data teams are the engine behind our product experience. Through understanding user behavior, we can analyze their behavior and leverage this data to continuously enhance our tools and services.

We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our BI & Analytics team.

In this role, you will work closely with BI developers and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.

What you will be doing

• Analysis of user behavior data, such as - examination of browsing patterns, conversion rates, seasonal demand behavior, user segmentation, and other statistical analysis
• Analysis of supply data, such as - examination of seasonal supply patterns, identify gaps or over saturated supply, and other stock metrics.
• Market research – combine internal behavioral and supply data with external market data to provide a deeper understanding of key performance metrics.
• Providing recommendations for improving website conversion rates, using A/B Testing principles, user experience analysis
• Be part of the strategic decisions making process
• Create clustering models to create segmentation for optimization
• Work with SQL and databases and write complex queries
• Work with python to "complete the picture” where SQL is not enough
• Use excel for quick and ad-hoc analysis

Your skills and experience

• At least two years of experience as a BI analyst
• Strong proficiency in SQL - A must
• Familiarity with Python – A must
• Proven ability transforming data into actionable insights
• Experience with data visualization (Tableau/Power BI etc.) – An advantage
• Independent, proactive, and able to work under pressure
• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving, high Attention to details and strong communication skills
