About the role

As a Senior Product Manager at ShipIn, you will own the AI & computer vision domain - transforming AI-powered video and operational data into decision-grade insights for global fleet operators.

You will define the product strategy and roadmap for the Squad, working at the intersection of maritime operations, AI, and enterprise SaaS. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will play a central role in scaling our product organization and delivering measurable impact across safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the vision and roadmap for the Squad, ensuring alignment across design, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
• Lead product discovery by deeply understanding customer pain points, analyzing market dynamics, and translating insights into impactful solutions.
• Drive execution end-to-end: from ideation and design to launch and adoption, ensuring features deliver measurable value to customers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, data scientists, domain experts, and commercial teams to turn complex challenges into elegant, customer-centric solutions.
• Measure success and iterate, continuously improving product performance and driving meaningful outcomes such as reduced incidents, higher efficiency, and improved safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a fast-paced tech startup.
• Proven track record of launching and iterating on AI & computer vision based enterprise software products that deliver measurable results.
• Hands-on experience with Industry 4.0 solutions - building tech products for traditional industries (e.g., maritime, industrial, construction, operations, manufacturing).
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, or related); advanced degrees (MSc, PhD, MBA) are a plus.
• Familiarity with product design frameworks and tools, and a data-driven approach to decision-making using BI and KPIs.
• Experience in IoT, video, computer vision, or exposure to AI/ML and data pipeline tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.
• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and focus on delivering results.
• Outstanding communication, collaboration, and coordination skills.
