Senior Product Manager - Storage

We are seeking an experienced Principal Product Manager to drive the product roadmap and feature strategy for our high-performance enterprise storage and data management platform. In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between enterprise client needs and Core R&D—translating complex pain points into detailed PRDs and technical feature specifications. You will own your product domain end-to-end, balancing roadmap prioritization, pre-sales support, and competitive positioning within large-scale IT ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities

• Roadmap & Backlog Ownership: Direct the strategic product roadmap, feature definition, and backlog prioritization for core components of our enterprise storage platform architecture.
• Requirements & Technical PRDs: Gather, synthesize, and prioritize requirements from Fortune 500 accounts and field teams, authoring comprehensive technical PRDs and conducting hands-on validation.
• R&D Partnership: Collaborate closely with Engineering leadership on release planning, scoping trade-offs, and architecture alignment.
• Enablement & Technical Documentation: Author comprehensive reference architectures, configuration guides, and technical enablement materials for Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
• Product Health Tracking & Market Trends: Conduct product health tracking and analyze global infrastructure trends (AI/data workloads, cyber resilience, hybrid cloud, SAN/NAS, block and file architectures) to shape long-term strategy.
• Field & Analyst Support: Support enterprise pre-sales engagements, competitive technical positioning, and strategic conversations with industry analysts and C-level stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Academic Background: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory.
• 5+ years of dedicated Product Management experience, with a strong emphasis on enterprise storage, data platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
• 8+ years of total hands-on experience working directly with data center and enterprise IT infrastructure (Compute, Networking, SAN/NAS, Replication, Backup/Recovery).
• Enterprise Customer Focus: Proven track record of translating complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes for Fortune 500 clients and service providers.
• High Ownership: Self-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to take complete ownership of complex technical products with minimal supervision.
• Communication Mastery: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, equally effective in deep technical reviews and executive briefings.
