Elsec, which is located in Sderot, is a small company with a family style start up atmosphere, operating as part of Elbit Systems Group — a combination that provides both flexibility and innovation, as well as the stability and capabilities of a large organization

The company specializes in developing advanced solutions for defense units, with an emphasis on systems for infantry and special forces

In the field of observation, we develop advanced electro optical systems that integrate artificial intelligence, neural networks, algorithmic development, and user interfaces. Work is carried out in multi disciplinary teams

The role includes joining a leading team, working on cutting edge technology projects, and having a direct impact on the development of advanced algorithmic systems — from the definition phase through deployment at the customer site

Responsibilities include implementing software tools, integrating algorithmic modules into the system, and working closely with the algorithm development team

Professional Requirements

Master's degree with a thesis (M.Sc.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems / Data Science

Proficiency in Python

Familiarity with Linux – an advantage

Experience working with MongoDB – an advantage

Practical experience in AI/ML – an advantage

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain software infrastructures supporting algorithm development

Identify the analytics team’s needs and define appropriate software infrastructure solutions

Prepare data for algorithmic work: organizing, cleaning, documenting, and structuring raw data

Participate in designing the system architecture for algorithm development and interfaces to external software tools

Develop integration and adaptation interfaces between algorithms and testing or software environments

Integrate algorithmic developments into the operational software and system
