System Administrator

Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring a System Administrator for a leading healthcare organization

Join a critical IT infrastructure team within a large medical organization, working in a production environment with advanced technologies and high availability requirements.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration and maintenance of Windows Server and Linux environments (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, SUSE)

• Management of Microsoft infrastructure: Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, GPO, IIS, File & Share Servers

• Administration of physical server farms (advantage: Cisco environments)

• VMware virtualization – deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades and ongoing maintenance

• Development and maintenance of automation scripts (PowerShell, Python)

• Monitoring & control systems management (with focus on SCOM)

• Integration between monitoring, automation, and enterprise infrastructure systems

• Ongoing collaboration with Security, Development and Networking teams

• AWS cloud environment support – implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting

• Production environment support including on-call duties and occasional evening work

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (Ubuntu / RedHat / CentOS / SUSE) – at least 20% of role experience

• Strong experience with Windows Server (AZ-800 / AZ-801 certifications – advantage)

• Deep knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure: AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, IIS, File Services

• Experience managing server farms (Cisco environments – advantage)

• Proven VMware experience (certifications – advantage)

• Experience with monitoring systems, especially SCOM

• Scripting & automation skills using PowerShell and Python

• Proven experience working with AWS
