Research Scientist

Responsibilities

The Research Scientist will be responsible for integrating scientific development with technical documentation and hardware implementation.

Primary responsibilities, with support from experienced advisors and subject-matter experts:

Contributing to patent drafting (US and PCT), with guidance from patent counsel

Supporting preparation of grant applications (IIA, Horizon, and similar programs)

Assisting in preparation of FDA-facing documentation

Planning and executing structured laboratory experiments

Analyzing experimental data and documenting results

Coordinating work with subcontractors and external laboratories

The candidate is not expected to have prior experience in all areas, but should demonstrate intellectual independence, strong learning capacity, and initiative.

Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related field.

Exceptional MSc candidates with significant relevant research or industry experience will be considered.

Demonstrated ability to independently draft rigorous technical documents.

First-author peer-reviewed publications.

Experience conducting structured experimental programs.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Advantage:

Experience designing and building hardware

Experience with ultrasound systems, circuits or wave-based energy transfer

Experience in implantable or regulated medical devices
