IT Manager - Israel

We seek an experienced, highly skilled hands-on IT Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage the Information Technology Department and ensure that our company’s technology is meeting its goals and objectives efficiently and reliably. You will work closely with managers, users, the R&D and DevOps teams to help determine the best way possible to meet the company's needs. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Oversee the Corporate IT department, including infrastructure, applications, Helpdesk, and information security. 

• Manage and maintain IT operations and help desk and supervise systems and IT staff. 

• Develop, manage, and execute the IT department's annual work plan and budget. 

• Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems following Soc2 Type II and internal policies. 

• Create processes and standards for selecting, implementing, and supporting systems. 

• Handle IT annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness. 

• Interfaces with R&D and specifically DevOps teams to support their needs. 

• Handle purchasing of both hardware and software. 

• Maintain company hardware and software programs. 

• Managing effective security measures to minimize risks to security. 

• Increasing end user satisfaction levels by constantly improving relevant applications. 

• Ensuring the company has a suitable disaster recovery policy and adequate contingency plan. 

• Arranging upgrades, migrations, and replacements of hardware and software utilities. 

• 8+ years of experience working in IT operations, supporting development teams, and overseeing information technology and security projects, in global companies 

• 3+ years of management experience. 

• Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network, firewalls and systems administration, back-office systems, identity management, hardware, and new developments in the IT domain. 

• Have a “can-do” approach. 

• Familiar with cloud-based IT solutions - preferably AWS, GCP, Azure. 

• IT systems knowledge (OS, networking, virtualization, security …) including Windows and Linux.  

• Exceptional customer service orientation. 

• Ability to communicate in English fluently, both in writing and orally. 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field – an advantage. 

• Ability to manage the balance between business needs and security risk. 

• Experience in leading compliance audits (e.g. SOC 2, ISO, etc.) and familiarity with relevant regulations and best practices – an advantage.
