We’re Hiring: Software Developer for Micro Focus (MF) Systems – Dynamic & Growing Tech Company in Holon!

A leading technology company located in Holon is seeking a talented Software Developer with strong Python experience to join our team and work on critical core systems in a Micro Focus environment.

🔧 Role Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core, business‑critical systems in a Micro Focus environment, using Cobol and Python, including version upgrades, system improvements, and new feature development.
• Write Python scripts and utility tools to enhance and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate closely with System and Infrastructure teams.
• Work with Git for version control, including Branching Strategy and Pull Requests.
• Collaborate with project managers, product managers, additional development teams, and System/Infrastructure teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of hands‑on Python development experience.
• Experience with Cobol – an advantage.
• Strong command of Git, including version control management, branching, and merge requests.
• Strong business mindset and deep understanding of the financial domain.
• Willingness to provide support for urgent issues during non‑standard hours, as needed.
