Business Analyst (SaaS)

We are SUMIT, a B2B SaaS platform for financial management, serving businesses and accounting firms.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Analyst to deepen our analytical capabilities, expand our measurement infrastructure, and take our data-driven decision-making to the next level.

This is a central analytics role within the organization, with broad ownership and direct impact on business decision-making and the definition of key performance metrics.

About the Role

This is a cross-functional position working closely with Leadership, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities:

Growth & Business Analysis

• Analyze core growth drivers and define key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, LTV, CAC, Churn, Funnel Conversion)
• Build ongoing reports and dashboards for management
• Identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and critical drop-off points
• Detect bottlenecks in conversion and product usage

Product & Data

• Define measurement frameworks for new features and products
• Analyze user behavior (Product Analytics)
• Evaluate feature performance and ROI
• Work regularly with BI tools and data systems

Planning & Performance

• Build business forecasts
• Analyze Sales and Marketing performance
• Support Budgeting and Planning processes

Tools & Data

• Write SQL queries
• Work with BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker or similar)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
• Work with databases and understand data structures

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience as an Analyst in a SaaS company
• Hands-on experience with SQL and databases
• Experience generating business insights and presenting them to management
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication and presentation abilities

Education: Relevant degree (Economics / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering / Statistics / Computer Science or similar)

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup or product company
• Familiarity with financial models
• Experience with Product Analytics tools (Mixpanel / Amplitude)
• Experience with Python or R
