A technology company in Holon is seeking a Development Team Lead.

The role includes leading a team in the development and maintenance of critical core systems in a complex and stable financial environment. This is a full managerial position, focusing on team leadership, defining technology strategy, and managing development life cycles.

Responsibilities:

Lead a team of developers and system engineers
Manage end-to-end development processes: requirements, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance
Maintain code quality and engineering standards (Code Review, Design Review)
Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct professional investigations, and ensure system availability and stability
Work in a sensitive, high-availability environment

Requirements:

5+ years of experience managing development teams - MUST
Experience with COBOL (MF, C++, Java) - MUST
Experience working with core systems in financial organizations
Experience developing or leading development of mission-critical core systems - MUST
Version control experience with Git and familiarity with Agile methodologies
Business understanding and ability to work under pressure
Willingness for high availability, including working outside regular hours as needed
Experience with Micro Focus COBOL in a Windows environment – significant advantage
