As our Frontend Engineer, you’ll architect features and systems end-to-end at an incredible pace. This is an opportunity to own critical infrastructure at an early stage of a category-defining AI company. Build the first true AI accounting product with your own hands.

This is an intense, hands-on engineering role with full ownership. We expect you to push for excellence and raise the bar.

📍 Location: Remote with overlap to our New York City HQ (EST)

Where you'll create impact

• Build, ship, and own major parts of the product UI in React + Next.js
• Design and optimize interactive experiences that make complex workflows simple
• Work closely with product, design, and backend to ensure seamless integration and clarity
• Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers
• Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale
• Elevate the quality of the product through thoughtful details, polish, and user empathy

What sets you up for success

• Hardcore work ethic and high agency
• 8+ years of experience in frontend development with React (Next.js a strong plus)
• Solid grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript: scoping, closures, context, prototypes, classes, etc.
• Strong understanding of responsive UI, accessibility, and usability principles
• Experience building and testing APIs; comfort with HTTP, Postman, and debugging
• Clear product thinking, eye for polish, and attention to design details
• Pragmatic mindset: you move forward, make calls, and optimize for impact
• Curiosity and autonomy - you dig in, learn fast, and solve problems without waiting

Compensation & Benefits

• Equity: $30,000+ USD
• Base Salary: $100,000 – $155,000 USD
• Contract type: B2B
