Sett is looking for an HR Operations Specialist to take full ownership of our global recruitment and people operations processes. This role combines hands-on hiring and smart process optimization to support our growing remote team.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Hiring Operations
- Own end-to-end recruitment operations for remote roles across the globe, defined hiring goals, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct interviews and actively participate in candidate evaluation and hiring decisions.
- Coordinate hiring pipelines, interview processes, and feedback loops with hiring managers.
- Support occasional local recruitment needs as required (not the primary focus).
- Own the full onboarding and offboarding process for remote employees, including preparation, welcome calls, system access, and status tracking.
- Ensure every new hire experiences a smooth, well-organized onboarding process that sets them up for success.
- Manage offboarding processes with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for all remote employees, providing ongoing support and guidance.
- Own HR documentation, data, and records—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Build and optimize HR automations and workflows, reducing manual work and increasing clarity at scale.
- Maintain clear HR dashboards, trackers, and reports for leadership visibility.
- Own salary charts, invoicing related to HR and recruitment, and coordination around HR tools and systems.
- Ensure HR-related processes around payments, contracts, and tools are well-documented and reliably executed.
- Regularly report status, risks, and insights to senior management.
- 4–5 years of experience in HR roles, focused on core people operations such as employee support, documentation, compliance, and day-to-day HR processes.
- Proven hands-on recruitment experience is a must, including managing hiring pipelines, setting recruitment goals and execution.
- Experience in an operations role with hands-on ownership of structured, execution-driven processes.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), with confidence leading interviews, calls, and clear communication across a global team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple workflows accurately and independently.
- Curious and proactive, with a strong interest in technology, automation, and continuous improvement.
- High emotional intelligence with a positive, solution-oriented mindset—someone people trust, rely on, and enjoy working with.
- Experience scaling HR operations in a fast-growing startup.
- Experience building automations or workflows in Monday.
- Exposure to creative, tech, or gaming organizations.
- Experience supporting remote, global teams.
