Software Development Team Leader

We’re looking for a brilliant, hands-on Software Development Team Leader to join our world-class technology team. In this role, you'll have both the autonomy and the authority to lead a Full Stack development team in building exceptional products throughout the agile development lifecycle. You’ll be joining a high-velocity, highly technical group of passionate builders behind Fiverr’s core platforms.

What am I going to do?:

• Lead a team of talented developers through the full product lifecycle: from architecture and design to development, testing, and production.
• Stay hands-on and contribute to the codebase.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data professionals to drive innovation and deliver value.
• Mentor, grow, and support the team, helping them reach their full potential.
  
  

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science from a top-tier university.
• 5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack development, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, distributed web applications.
• Deep understanding of backend technologies, functional programming, SQL, NoSQL, and data platforms.
• AI Native - AI tools
• Strong communicator with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Passion for writing clean, well-tested, high-performance code.
• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
