🚀 We’re hiring a Software Manager | R&D | Medical-Tech Environment 🚀
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Manager to lead a high-impact R&D software team developing complex, mission-critical systems in a regulated, multidisciplinary environment.
🔹 The role includes:
- Leading and managing a team of ~9 software engineers (with future growth potential)
- Hands-on development alongside leadership responsibilities
- Ownership of software architecture, design, and implementation
- Ensuring high software quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing
- Driving hiring, mentoring, and professional growth of team members
- Close collaboration with system, hardware, QA, regulatory, and clinical teams
🔹 Tech stack:
C#, C++, C (hands-on involvement required, with strong preference for C# background)
🔹 Requirements:
✔️ BSc in Computer Science or a related field
✔️ 10+ years of software development experience
✔️ 3+ years of people management experience
✔️ Proven hands-on capability and desire to stay technically involved
✔️ Experience developing complex, multidisciplinary systems
✔️ Medical / regulated software experience – an advantage
✔️ Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
