Product Manager - Microsoft 365 Copilot

The Microsoft Search, Assistant, and Intelligence (MSAI) team in the Microsoft Israel R&D Center (Herzliya) is seeking a Product Manager to build AI‑powered productivity experiences in Microsoft 365 Copilot, helping people get more done at work.

You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment with research, engineering, and design teams to turn advanced AI capabilities into trusted, high‑impact product experiences. This role requires a strong grasp of how systems and infrastructure shape product decisions, a builder’s mindset with hands‑on prototyping and data work, and the ability to create clarity and make thoughtful trade‑offs grounded in customer signals and technical realities.

In this role, you’ll shape scenarios that combine large language models (LLMs) with Microsoft Graph data to transform natural language into one of the world’s most powerful productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of high‑value Microsoft 365 Copilot experiences that leverage AI and data, grounded in a strong understanding of underlying systems, infrastructure constraints, and their impact on user experience.
• Define and monitor core metrics (adoption, engagement, reliability, latency, cost, task success) and build the evaluation frameworks, tools, and processes needed to assess model performance, safety, and product quality, prioritizing features and experiments that strengthen Copilot’s capabilities.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with research, engineering, design, platform, and Responsible AI teams to build and ship innovative, trustworthy AI‑powered experiences.
• Deeply understand customer needs through qualitative and quantitative research; partner directly with customers to identify high‑value use cases and synthesize interviews, telemetry, and market signals to drive high‑judgment product decisions and resolve trade‑offs.
• Prototype, test, and iterate quickly using AI tools, data analysis, and dashboards; run experiments and integrate feedback to validate hypotheses and guide data‑driven decisions.
• Ensure enterprise‑grade trust by upholding security, privacy, compliance, and Responsible AI standards across Copilot experiences.
• Continuously learn, staying current on AI advancements, evolving customer needs, and changing patterns of work, while embracing the shift toward an AI‑forward product management approach.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of product management experience (or equivalent).   
• BS/BA degree, preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. 
• Proven track record of strong performance in prior product or related roles, consistently delivering results and meaningful impact. 
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands‑on with LLMs/ML: model experimentation, output evaluation, and building LLM‑powered solutions.
• Proven record of delivering AI/ML solutions that unlock new capabilities and create meaningful user and business impact.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast‑moving AI environments; skilled at using experimentation and user feedback to validate assumptions and drive iterative progress.
• Builder’s mindset with the ability to prototype with AI tools, write/interpret data analysis queries, and create dashboards to keep decisions data‑driven.
• Effective collaborator who builds strong partnerships across research, engineering, design, and cross‑organizational teams.
• Clear and persuasive written and verbal communicator, able to tailor messages to technical and non‑technical audiences and articulate product vision and value.
• Team player who is confident, independent, and enthusiastic, able to energize and motivate others toward shared goals.
