Position Overview

The CEO will have overall responsibility for leading and managing an international trading company operating in the defense industry. The role encompasses full accountability for procurement, logistics, domestic and international sales, administration, and strategic growth. The CEO will report directly to the company owners and work closely with the Board, ensuring strong governance, operational excellence, and sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s overall strategy, operations, and financial performance.
• Oversee end-to end -end international trade activities, including procurement, imports/exports, logistics, inventory, sales  and supplier management.
• Manage sales activities in Israel and international markets, including key accounts, strategic customers, and long-term partnerships.
• Develop and execute growth strategies in defense-related markets, both locally and globally.
• Ensure compliance with defense-sector regulations, international trade laws, export controls, and customs requirements.
• Lead administrative functions, including finance coordination, contracts, legal interfaces, and internal processes.
• Maintain direct and ongoing reporting to company owners and the Board, including financial, operational, and strategic updates.
• Drive data-driven decision-making using ERP Priority, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting, and operational control.
• Build, manage, and mentor teams -  procurement, logistics, sales, and administration.
• Represent the company in high-level negotiations with customers, regulators, and strategic partners.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CEO / General Manager of a company min 5 years with proven credentials (mandatory). With revenue of over 100 million USD
• Demonstrated experience in international trading operations, including legal , procurement, logistics, and cross-border sales.
• Strong understanding of global supply chains and commercial operations.
• High-level proficiency in English (spoken and written); Hebrew required; additional languages an advantage.
• Proven experience in direct reporting to company owners and Boards.
• Hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of ERP Priority (mandatory).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Preferred / Significant Advantage

• Previous experience in the defense industry in Israel and/or internationally.
• Familiarity with defense procurement processes, regulatory environments, and security requirements.
• Established international supplier and customer networks in defense-related markets.
