The Role

We're looking for a mechanical engineer who wants to leave fingerprints on products that last.

Not concept sketches or renderings - real, shipped products that people touch, trust, and love.

You'll lead the mechanical design of our next generation of connected home products.

That might mean crafting an ultra-satisfying wall-mount experience for Photos, building water-tight systems for easyplant, or shaping the housing of a smart lighting product in Oasis.

Whatever the challenge, you'll own it from the first sketch to the factory ramp.

We care about fit, feel, and finish. We care about how things click, slide, and age.

And we're looking for someone who does too.

This isn't a manager role. This is a hands-on, build-it-yourself, lead-by-making kind of job.

You'll be in CAD. In the lab. On the ground with our teams.

Making decisions that shape how the product feels, for real people, in real homes.

What You'll Do

• Design the physical experience of our products: the geometry, the feel, the moments
• Own mechanical decisions end to end, from blank page to production line
• Bridge digital and physical: work tightly with industrial design, electronics, and product
• Build clean, parametric CAD that evolves fast and scales smoothly
• Prototype, test, learn, then feed insights back into the next iteration
• Design for mass manufacturing from day one
• Help our products feel premium, intentional, and built to last

• Daily, hands-on CAD design. Not CAD-adjacent, but CAD-expert
• Deep experience with injection molding, CNC machining, and 3D printing
• Proven track record designing parts for high-quality consumer hardware
• Fluency in tolerances, stack-ups, DFM, and production realities
• Strong parametric modeling for configurable or revision-heavy parts
• Clear thinking, clean documentation, and tight execution under pressure
