Product Manager – AI Application Security

Bright Security is a rapidly growing global SaaS B2B company tackling some of the biggest challenges in Application Security. Bright’s enterprise-grade, dev-centric Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) platform accelerates issue awareness remediation from a 12-week average to same-day discovery.

About the Role

We are building a next-generation AI-powered product that automatically secures web applications and APIs. We are looking for a Product Manager who is ready to take ownership of a new product and help shape it from early growth to market leadership. This is a high-impact role for someone with solid product fundamentals who wants to operate at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and modern software engineering in the largest enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead product management for a new AI-powered application security product
• Translate complex security and customer challenges into clear, actionable product requirements
• Partner closely with engineering, AI, and security research teams to deliver impactful capabilities
• Define and execute the roadmap as we bring this new offering to market
• Work directly with early customers to validate use cases and refine product-market fit
• Drive AI-enabled automation that reduces manual security testing and accelerates remediation
• Collaborate with Marketing & Sales on enablement materials and serve as a product evangelist.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management, or other relevant roles in a B2B SaaS or technical product company
• Experience working on new or early-stage products, and/or with AppSec or DevSecOps teams is a strong plus

• Ability to write clear product requirements and user stories
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, to align with business goals
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to clearly communicate product vision, roadmap priorities, and trade-offs to internal and external audiences

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of application security, web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), or broader cybersecurity concepts
• Familiarity with DAST, SAST, API security, or penetration testing
• Technical fluency — comfortable working with engineers and understanding APIs and system architecture
• Bonus: background in software development, DevOps, QA, or security engineering
• Interest or experience in AI/ML-powered products, especially applied to security or developer workflows
• Familiarity with automation or agent-style tools such as n8n, Make, or similar platforms
