A high-growth international business within the Health IT/ Technology industry is looking to appoint a technically strong Group Financial Controller to lead global accounting and financial reporting in a US public company environment.

This is a pivotal finance leadership role based in the Haifa District, Israel, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and taking full ownership of consolidated reporting, SOX compliance and audit processes. The successful candidate will play a key part in strengthening financial infrastructure to support continued global growth.

For a CPA coming from Big 4 audit and looking to step into a broader group-level remit, this Group Financial Controller opportunity offers strong exposure and long-term progression.

The Group Financial Controller will oversee consolidated reporting under US GAAP, lead the close cycle across multiple entities and act as the primary accounting contact for external auditors.

Operating within the Health Technology industry, this role blends technical accounting leadership with process improvement and system scalability. You will take ownership of revenue recognition under ASC 606, internal controls and financial governance, ensuring the business remains fully aligned with US capital markets requirements.

Based in the Haifa Area, Israel, this is a hands-on position suited to someone confident navigating complexity and driving high standards across a growing organisation.

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual group close processes
• Prepare and review consolidated US GAAP financial statements
• Manage SEC reporting and external audit coordination
• Own SOX framework design, documentation and control testing
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue recognition across B2C and B2B models
• Supervise purchase-to-pay, inventory and billing integrity controls
• Ensure P&L accuracy and oversight of accounting operations
• Support ERP enhancements and finance system integrations
• Manage statutory reporting and local tax compliance
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting and controls
  
  

• CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting
• Big 4 background, ideally within Hi-Tech audit
• 2-4 years' post-internship experience in US GAAP reporting
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
• Experience with SOX compliance in a public company environment
• Exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP systems advantageous
• Fluent English, written and verbal

Total Compensation: ILS 480,000 - 580,000 annually
