Hands-on Engineering Manager

We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to join our R&D team as a technical anchor and leader.

You are a hands-on manager who thrives on building complex architectures and leading high-performing teams to deliver production-grade software. In your day-to-day, you’ll lead a global squad of full-stack engineers and bridge the gap between sophisticated LLM systems and our business goals.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale our 100% cloud-native distributed system, ensuring 99.999% availability and high-scale performance using API-first principles.
• Lead the development of our LLM-based systems, turning advanced AI models into intuitive, value-driven product features.
• Champion a "Full-cycle" engineering culture, owning everything from design to production-grade deployment, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Mentor a global squad of full-stack engineers, fostering a culture of high ownership, professional excellence, and career growth.
• Partner directly with our founders and product teams to translate business vision into a robust technical roadmap.

What we are looking for

• Proven track record in at least 2 technology companies, where you played a significant role in the team's success and technical growth.
• Hands-on mastery of Python, or Node.js (TypeScript), with the ability to lead by example and deep-dive into complex code.
• Expertise in scaling distributed architectures, including deep experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerized environments (Docker/K8s).
• Business-minded leadership, with a natural ability to align technical decisions with market success and manage remote/global teams.
• Professional grit and direct communication, backed by a BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience.
• Experience with LLM or ML-based systems - a significant advantage.
